The only information you need to open a CoinDeck account is an email address. Once you have verified your email address, you can send, receive, store, and exchange cryptocurrencies.

The only reason you will need to provide further personal information is if you would like to buy cryptocurrency or withdraw funds using fiat currency (USD, Euro…). To do so, you will need to verify your account.

Why am I being asked to verify my account?

According to laws and regulations in place to prevent money laundering and the use of funds for illicit purposes, we are required to demand identity verification from all clients who wish to buy cryptocurrency using fiat currency, or exchange crypto assets for fiat currency.
